Be available to life.
Our industry is one that is constantly evolving. It is alive and exciting, it wants to grow with us and I think we should encourage it to catch up as opposed to following its lead. It’s time for some big ideas now is when those imperative conversations between artists and the community should begin. I feel that part of my charge as an artist is to bring astonishment into the experience of theatre-making and presenting, to show anyone who comes into contact with the work how they can amaze themselves so they can amaze others.
